The Technology

 

Results Navigator is an Excel application. Though we've invested hundreds of hours in its coding and development, it is fundamentally an Excel workbook with lots of menus and special functions.

 

It is compatible with everything in your organization that works with Microsoft. Everyone in your organization will be able to use it. The only training needed will be learning how to use its menu-based features.

 

The Security

 

The application is password protected. The database is hosted on your own secure server where you host other data with this level of operational information. We'll host your data on our secure server during your set-up and testing and until you have a permanent server for your production data.

This is the main navigation console.

 

Workload & Resource Forecasting

This screen calculates workload hours, resource capacity, salary & benefit cost
and total operating costs for Life Cycle phases. This insurance company exhibit
displays the number of underwriters that are needed each quarter for Location 1.

 

Product Resource, Hours Forecast

This screen calculates workload hours, resource capacity, salary & benefit cost
and total operating costs for products. This insurance company exhibit displays
the number of underwriters that are needed each quarter for the different types of
policies for Region 2.

 

Product Resource, Salary & Benefit Cost Forecast

This is the salary and benefits cost of underwriters in Region 2
that will produce each product (type of policy).

 

Product Resource, Total Operations Cost Forecast

This is the total operating cost of underwriters in Region 2
that will produce each product (type of policy).

 

Customer Segment, Resource Hours & FTE Forecast

This page of the application calculates workload hours, resource
capacity, salary & benefit cost and total operating costs for customer
segments. Shown here is the total underwriter position forecast for the entire company.

Calculations like this help managers determine where they need specialists vs. generalists.

 

Customer Segment, Total Operations Cost Forecast

This is the operating cost of each customer segment for the entire company.

Finance departments use this for budget management and cost reporting.
